Leadership Coaching and Conflict Resolution to the Impact Sector
Mentoring for Emerging Leaders
Confident. Capable. Purpose-led.
If you’re stepping into leadership for the first time, this space is for you.
Whether you're managing a team, leading a project, or navigating the early challenges of influencing others, leadership can feel equal parts exciting and overwhelming. Mentoring for emerging leaders offers the space, support and stretch you need to lead with confidence, clarity and purpose.
Step Into Leadership with Confidence and Clarity
Stepping into a leadership role can trigger all sorts of questions:
Am I ready? What if I get it wrong? How do I earn trust and respect?
You might feel pressure to prove yourself quickly, yet also unsure about the unspoken rules of leadership. That’s completely normal — leadership isn't something you're simply born knowing. It's learned, practised, and shaped over time.
Early-career leadership mentoring gives you a sounding board, a space to reflect, and structured guidance to help you grow into your role – not just do the job, but own it with integrity and intention. Think of it as a long-term investment in your potential and impact.
Support From Someone Who’s Been There
I’ve led teams, projects, and organisations through change, growth, and challenge — and I remember what those early steps into leadership felt like. Now, I specialise in mentoring for first-time leaders, combining practical insight with a coaching approach.
I work with purpose-driven people across sectors — from social impact and education to startups and creative industries — who want to lead with values, courage and clarity.
I have a particular passion for emerging leaders, especially next generation ones. We really need them to be at the top of their game is our volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world.
As your mentor, I’ll bring perspective, ask questions that challenge your thinking, and walk alongside you as you shape your leadership identity.
What We Might Explore Together
Every mentoring journey is tailored, but we often explore:
-
Developing your unique leadership style and values
-
Managing people or projects for the first time
-
Communicating clearly and confidently
-
Navigating feedback, conflict and team dynamics
-
Building emotional resilience and managing stress
-
Avoiding early-career burnout while staying ambitious
This is support for new managers who want to do more than just survive — they want to thrive and grow into leaders others trust and follow.
Hear From Emerging Leaders
“Mentoring helped me find my voice as a new manager. I stopped second-guessing myself and started leading with purpose. The shift in how I show up — and how my team responds — has been transformative.”
— Sophie, early-career team lead
This kind of feedback is common. Many first-time leaders come away with greater self-belief, stronger relationships at work, and a clearer sense of the kind of leader they want to be — and become.
